Local Democrat Announces Campaign

We are 15 months away from Election Day 2024, but there’s already some action in the race for Congress in western Wisconsin.

Democrat Rebecca Cooke yesterday said she’s entering the race to take-on Republican Congressman Derrick Van Orden. Cooke ran two years ago, but didn’t make it out of the Democratic primary. This time around she says she wants to connect with more people in the Eau Claire area, and the rest of the western part of the state. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE.

Showing you different sides so you can decide, across the ticket Van Orden is serving his first term, and is seen as a possible target for Democrats next fall. His campaign says Cooke is ‘extreme,’ and wrong for western Wisconsin.
