The fight over tax cuts in Wisconsin is not over yet.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos yesterday said Republicans will likely vote again on a multi-billion dollar tax cut for most taxpayers in the state. Governor Evers vetoed the Republicans’ three-and-a-half billion-dollar tax cut earlier this week, saying it didn’t do enough for middle class families. Vos said the tax cut would have helped everyone who makes between 38-thousand and just over 400-thousand dollars a year.
The governor said he’d veto any new tax cut that Republicans pass.
