Two people are recovering after a plane trying to make an emergency landing crashed into the back of a minivan in Waunakee.
Police say a single engine plane lost power yesterday afternoon shortly after taking off from the city’s airport. The pilot circled around to find a safe place to land. Seeing a straight path to Knightsbridge Road, the pilot brought the plane down. However, the plane didn’t stop before plowing into the back of a parked minivan. The two people onboard the plane were taken to an area hospital for minor injuries.
