A deadly crash in Jackson County is under investigation.
On Sunday at approximately 6:22pm, the Wisconsin State Patrol and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 westbound near mile marker 121 in Jackson County. The driver and two passengers from one of the vehicles involved in the crash were transported to Black River Falls Memorial Hospital. At the hospital one of the passengers from the vehicle, 47 year old Elivira Palomec, succumbed to her injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
