There’s more criticism about the decision not to pay for a new UW-Madison engineering building.
Madison state Rep. Lisa Subeck yesterday blasted Republican lawmakers for leaving the project off of the state’s to-do list in the new state budget. Subeck says the College of Engineering at UW-Madison provides a ‘world class education,’ but needs the resources to continue to do so. She’s worried Madison will fall behind. Lawmakers last week turned down a request for nearly $200 million dollars in state money for the new building.
