Hundreds of public school educators and their supporters from across Wisconsin gathered outside the State Capitol Saturday afternoon to support Governor Tony Evers’ budget proposal.
Evers’ spending plan would increase public school funding by more than two-point-six billion dollars. Wisconsin Education Association President Peggy Wirtz-Olsen called it a once-in-a-lifetime investment.
