A Dane County sheriff’s deputy is in the hospital after being involved in a car crash.
The sheriff’s office says the deputy was hit by a drunk driver this morning on County Highway N just south of Interstate-90. The deputy suffered non-life threatening injuries. The sheriff’s office says the suspect drove off but was later found and arrested. He’s charged with OWI, hit and run, and resisting and obstructing.
