City Stimulus Money to Address Diversity, Equity, Inclusion

Eau Claire is ready to spend almost 90 thousand-dollars on new diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

The city council recently approved 87 thousand-dollars to be used for the creation of a BIPOC steering committee, to have a DEI focus group, and to hire a consultant to help create a new DEI plan. The 87 thousand-dollars is part of Eau Claire’s last bit of the city’s coronavirus stimulus money.
