Shake Up in WI Elections Commissioner Role

Wisconsin’s newest elections commissioner is coming from Milwaukee County.

Governor Evers yesterday named former Milwaukee County Clerk Joe  Czarnezki to the Elections Commission. He is replacing former Sheboygan County Clerk Julie Glancey, who retired from the Commission on Friday. Czarnezki spent a decade in the state legislature in the 1980s, and was elected as Milwaukee County Clerk in 2008 and 2012, after that he served on the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors.
