The University of Wisconsin says it is ‘gathering information’ about the weekend arrest of a Badger football player.
Madison Police arrested wide receiver Markus Allen on Saturday for suspicion of being drunk and armed. Allen was one of 44 people arrested at the Block Party this weekend. Madison Police say they found a stolen gun in a backpack, but stopped short of naming Allen in the arrest. The university says it’s aware of the situation and is trying to process the information.
