The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office has released limited details about a vehicle versus pedestrian accident. Authorties responded along with the Chippewa Fire District to a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash in the Town of Lafayette.
The adult female struck by the vehicle succumb to her injuries at the hospital. The investigation is on-going, the operator of the vehicle has been cooperative with Law Enforcement and the incident remains under investigation.
