Wisconsin’s attorney general is joining the county’s other Democratic A-Gs in pushing to allow women to continue to have access to the abortion pill.
A-G Josh Kaul yesterday signed a letter with 23 other A-Gs in asking an appeals court to strike down a Texas federal judge’s ruling that revoked the FDA’s approval of mifepristone. Kaul and the others say without access to the abortion pill there will be more late term abortions, more sick and poor kids, and more ‘educational disparities.’ The ruling in Texas is at odds with a federal court in Washington state that ordered the FDA not to change how the abortion pill is distributed in the U.S.
