DNR Takes Over Oil Clean Up

DNR Takes Over Oil Clean Up

The state of Wisconsin is now in charge of the oil spill clean-up in New Berlin.

The Department of Natural Resources took over yesterday. No one is saying just how much oil spilled out of a 350 gallon oil storage drum at the Moorland Auto Repair shop last week. The company yesterday released a statement saying it is working to ‘remediate the impact of the accidental oil spill as quickly as possible.’ DNR crews say it could take weeks to clean all of the oil out of a local creek and pond.
