Real Life Frogger News | March 16, 2023 | 0 | by Morgan McCarthy The state of Wisconsin is once again asking for volunteers to listen for frogs and toads in their part of the state. The Department of Natural Resources is asking for ‘froggers’ to be a part of this year’s Frog and Toad Survey. The survey has been running in Wisconsin since 1984, and is now the longest running in the country. Froggers listen for the sounds in their area, then report back to the state. The DNR says the survey helps track the local populations of the state’s 12 species of frogs and toads.
