It’s 30-thousand-dollars bond for the suspect in a pair of sexual assaults near campus last year.
A judge yesterday set bond at 15 thousand-dollars a-piece for each of the two cases that 20-year-old Safwan Takar is charged with. Police say he broke into a woman’s apartment last October and attacked a woman while she was sleeping. He’s also accused of offering a woman a ride home from the bar, then assaulting her in his car. Takar has pleaded not guilty in both cases.
