We have an update in the case of an inmate death in Eau Claire.
It was on Sunday, March 12, 2023 when a 29-year-old female was found and we now know who that was. Silver O. Jenkins, was found unresponsive in the Eau Claire County Jail. The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office has requested the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office and the Eau Claire County Medical Examiner’s Office to conduct an independent investigation into this death and that process is ongoing.
