Oshkosh is challenging the decision to have another company make the military’s new tactical vehicle.
Oshkosh Defense yesterday filed a formal protest over the decision to award AM General a nearly nine billion-dollars contract for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle. Oshkosh VP Tim Bleck says they believe the Pentagon did not ‘properly review the financial, technical, and manufacturing capabilities’ when deciding which company to go with. Oshkosh Defense says it can offer a better value for taxpayers. Oshkosh has been building the JLTV since 2015.
