Included in Governor Tony Evers’ budget is a plan to keep the Brewers in Milwaukee.
Today the governor said he wants to spend 290-million dollars on repairs to American Family Field. However, in order for the repairs to be made the team would have to extend its lease on the stadium until at least 2043. Evers says the money for the stadium would come from the state’s budget surplus. His full budget will be released tomorrow.
