Madison in Top Five For Capital Cities


Madison is one of the top-five safest state capitals in America. 

That’s according to WalletHub, which ranks Madison third based on nearly 50 key factors including affordability, economic wellbeing, and quality of life.  WalletHub says Madison has the best quality of education and health, the second-highest percentage of adults with a bachelor degree, the third-lowest premature death rate, and the third-best quality of life. 

The safest state capital is Austin, Texas and the least-safe capital is Augusta, Maine.
