Mark Jensen’s lawyers will now get to make their case in his second murder trial.
Prosecutors rested yesterday after calling former Kenosha County Medical Examiner Mary Mainland to the stand. She testified that Jensen’s former wife died from poisoning and was smothered back in 1998. Jensen was convicted of killing her, but the Wisconsin Supreme Court ordered a new trial. No one is guessing how long Jensen’s defense will take.
