Bald Eagles Returned to the Wild

News | January 8, 2023 | 0 | by Morgan McCarthy
Bald Eagles Returned to the Wild

A Wisconsin group that takes care of injured birds is releasing bald eagles back into the wild.

Four bald eagles were released Saturday afternoon in Sauk City after being rehabilitated by the Raptor Education Group.  The nonprofit group from Antigo said three of the birds were poisoned by lead and were receiving treatment.  Next weekend, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will host its annual Bald Eagle Watching Days with a live raptor show at the River Arts Center at Sauk Prairie High School.
