Prosecutors To Move Forward With Charges Against Accused Playoff Shooters

Prosecutors in Milwaukee are going to try again in April to make the case against the two people accused of opening fire outside the Bucks’ playoff game last May.

The trial for Alexus Jackson-Milton and Lemont Siller was supposed to start yesterday, but the D.A.’s office asked for a delay because two of its key witnesses didn’t show-up to court. Prosecutors say one of those witnesses was the intended target of the shooting. Seventeen people were hit in the shooting on Water Street and Juneau last spring. In all, five people have been charged in relation to the case.
