Two Wisconsin soldiers who died in World War Two are finally being laid to rest.
The remains of Private First Class William Simon were identified last month and family members in Middleton were contacted Monday. A press release from the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency says Simon was killed in action in 1944 while battling German forces. On Friday, the agency said an Army Air Force pilot from Grafton has also been identified. First Lieutenant Roy Harms was killed in 1943 when his plane was hit by enemy fire during a bombing mission over Romania.
