Quadren Wilson, the man shot during an arrest on Madison’s east side back in February, was a wanted drug trafficker and may have been tied to the shooting death of an eleven-year-old Madison girl.
Those are some of the new details revealed in court filings in the case against the state DCI agent who shot Wilson. Wilson is currently serving a three-year sentence for drugs, but prosecutors say investigators were looking into his drug activity long before his arrest. As for the murder, investigators say Wilson may have been connected to the shooting death of Anisa Scott. They say he was at the scene, possibly in another car.
The court documents came out as part of a push from the DCI agent’s lawyers to get the Dane County D.A,’s office removed from the case.
