Brett Favre wants a judge to let him out of the lawsuit over Mississippi’s misspent welfare money.
Favre’s lawyers yesterday said the Mississippi Department of Human Services “groundlessly and irresponsibly seeks to blame Favre’ for how it mismanaged millions of dollars, years ago. Favre has not been charged, but newly released evidence shows he knew that the millions he was paid for speeches was money that was tied to the state’s welfare program. Favre’s lawyers say attaching him to the lawsuit is a purely PR move.
