The Chippewa Valley is invited to embrace all things winter-related with Eau Claire Parks and Recreation’s tenth annual Clearwater Winter Parade, starting at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 2, near the Eau Claire County Courthouse on Grand Avenue and proceeding down First Avenue to Owen Park. This year’s theme is “Passport to Festivities Around the Globe”.
The parade will begin with a firework show at 6:30pm from the Grand Avenue pedestrian bridge. Grace Lutheran Church will again be hosting its warming center with free hot cocoa, coffee, popcorn, face painting, and photo booth, for parade spectators from 5:30pm until the beginning of the parade. Additionally, write your Letters to Santa before the parade at the warming shelter and hand them to a United States Postal Worker during the parade. They will be certain Santa receives them at the North Pole.
