On This Day…

Hello.

We are glad you are here.

The week can sometimes feel long, stressful, or overwhelming-we hear ya. For that reason, we like to take a little break from that. Saturday morning we simply take a “scroll down memory lane.”

A simple peek back at events that happened on this day in history before we venture out into a new day and record more moments. So, grab your favorite sippin’ drink and let’s scroll!

Today is Saturday, November 12th, the 316th day of the year.  There are 49 days until the end of the year.

In 2011, pop star Justin Timberlake made good on his date promise to Corporal Kelsey De Santis by attending a Marine Corps ball in Richmond, Virginia.  De Santis had invited Timberlake to the event in a YouTube video earlier in the year.

In 2013, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat named One World Trade Center the tallest building in the United States, replacing Chicago’s Willis Tower.

In 2014, The Philae [[ FEE-lay ]] space probe landed on Comet 67P.  It was the first soft landing on a comet.

In 2019, The Walt Disney Company launched its streaming service Disney+.

And that brings us here to this day.

So whatever your own 11.12.2022 brings, here’s hoping there are moments along the way for you to record on the pages of your own personal history book.
