The wait for a Costco in Eau Claire could soon be over.
The city’s Plan Commission will meet next week to talk about a new Costco that’d be built at the corner of Black Avenue and Tower Drive. The meeting is next Monday, and there would be more meetings and approvals after that. No one is saying when work could begin or when the new store would open, but the hope is it would be ready by the fall of 2023 or the spring of 2024.
