An Arkansaw, Wisconsin, man is in custody after leading police on a chase through Durand.
According to the Pepin County Sheriff’s Office, Shawn Bauer led officials on a chase, during which he struck a squad car twice. A taser was deployed during that time but had no effect and Bauer fled. Officials say that for the safety of the community, they did not pursue Bauer through residential yards but was soon found barricaded in him home and apprehended without further incident.
