Appleton is joining the list of cities putting an advisory referendum on marijuana on the November ballot.
Voters will have the opportunity to voice their opinion on legalizing and regulating marijuana Specifically, voters will be asked “Should marijuana be legalized for use by those 21 and over, taxed and regulated like alcohol in the state of Wisconsin?” The vote will serve as a measure of public opinion and will not directly change any laws.
