The Kia Boys have reached western Wisconsin.
Police in Rice Lake are blaming TikTok videos for the rise in people trying to break into Kias in the area. A number of online videos explain how to break into Kias and Hyundais, then steal the cars with little more than a USB cable. Kia and Hyundai thefts have spiked across Wisconsin and across the country. Rice Lake Police Captain Matthew Bach says they’ve seen a few cars stolen in town, and are warning Kia and Hyundai owners to be careful.
