WI Supreme Court: Murder Suspect Can Use Human Trafficking In Defense

A Wisconsin murder suspect is being allowed to use human trafficking in her defense.

The state Supreme Court ruled today the state constitution lets Chrystul Kizer’s lawyers tell a jury she was trafficked by Randall Volar in 2018.  Kizer told Kenosha police she killed Volar because she became tired of him touching her.  Kenosha County DA Michael Graveley posted on Facebook in 2019 they never had any evidence suggesting Kizer was trafficked by Volar.
