The Wisconsin Supreme Court rules a member of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Board can stay on the board until a new member is confirmed.
Today’s decision means Republican Fred Prehn can stay on the board despite his term ending last year. The Supreme Court says Prehn can’t be fired by the governor without cause. Republicans in the Wisconsin Senate have failed to move forward with confirming a replacement appointed by Governor Tony Evers.
