Police in Baraboo have identified one of the suspects in this month’s zoo break-in.
Officers yesterday said 34-year-old Aaron Hovis broke into the Ochsner Park Zoo on June 7th and freed some animals. He let a pair of otters and a pair of owls go. The otters and one of the owls have been returned to the zoo, one owl is still not back in captivity. Hovis is facing charges of causing damage to animal enclosures, though prosecutors could add more charges.
