Prosecutors in Eau Claire say a Minnesota man hid-out in the local Kohl’s back in April before he stole 23 thousand-dollars in jewelry.
The D.A.’s Office on Wednesday filed formal charges against 26-year-old Thomas McRunnel from Rosemount, Minnesota. Police say he hid on a luggage shelf at the store in Eau Claire for more than four hours after the store closed, then began stealing things when the night shift clocked-out. He was caught after he tripped an alarm. McRunnel is due back in court next week.
