A murder trial is beginning in Clark County without a victim’s body.
Prosecutors are trying Jesus Perez for the October 2020 death and disappearance of 27-year-old Cassandra Ayon. Investigators say they had a son together and had broken-up just a few weeks before she went missing. Jury selection began yesterday.
Perez has never said what happened to his ex.
