As a graduate you wait to walk the stage, get that diploma, toss the hat and take the next steps into the real world. But, the real world can be a tough place sometimes.
For this week’s Friday Feel Good we visit Colorado and a 6th grader who learned a lesson much greater than something you from a text book.
Brody Ritter says only two of his classmates would sign his yearbook.
He was bullied this past year and cried at lunch when his classmates refused to sign. In fact, he wrote a note to himself in his yearbook that read; “Hope you make some more friends. — Brody Ridder”.
Brody’s mother posted his heartbreaking story online before high schoolers in the Colorado town saw it and then lined up to sign the yearbook.
Brody now says he feels better about himself and we can say CONGRATS to those students who went above and beyond any assignment, making a difference for Brody and teaching a lesson we won’t soon forget.
YOU CAN HEAR THE FRIDAY FEEL GOOD EVERY FRIDAY AT 2:30pm ON GREATEST HITS 98.1
