The daughter of the couple found murdered at the UW Arboretum back in 2020 says her boyfriend hated her parents because they tried to get him to live by some basic rules.
Beth Potter and Robin Carre’s daughter told the jury yesterday that Khari Sanford felt ‘like a slave’ because her parents asked him to go to school and abide by a curfew while living with them. Prosecutors say Sanford killed the two because he hated them and their rules. The couple’s daughter says she tried to help Sanford, but said he was angry and distant.
The trial will continue today.
