Investigators in Blue Mounds say a weekend shooting death was an accident.
Authorities have identified the victim of the shooting as 19-year-old Marshall Iverson of Mount Horeb, they say another young man, 20-year-old Isaiah Miller, accidentally fired a round from an AR-15 and killed Iverson. Dane County’s sheriff says the shooting could have been avoided with some training or basic knowledge of firearms.
Miller is booked into the Dane County jail on homicide by negligent handling of a dangerous weapon charges.
