Bird Flu Outbreak Continues to Spread

Another 66 thousand birds in Wisconsin were put down because of the bird flu this week.

The state’s Department of Agriculture yesterday said cases were confirmed in Sauk and Pierce counties, but new cases were also confirmed in Barron County. Barron County now has the most cases of the bird flu in the state, with five confirmed outbreaks at different farms or homes. In all, Wisconsin has confirmed the flu in 11 counties across the state.
