The Republican race for governor in Wisconsin is changing.
Builder Tim Michels announced on Friday that he is running for governor, and he will launch a million-dollar TV ad blitz starting today. Michels ran for the US Senate back in 2004 and lost. He hasn’t run since, but politicos say he has plenty of his own money to spend on the race. Michels joins former Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, candidate Kevin Nicholson, and state Rep. Tim Ramthun in the Republican field.
