Bald Eagle Recovering, Reward Offered in Case


The Bald Eagle found shot in western Wisconsin earlier this month is improving.

Rescuers at the Raptor Education Group in Antigo say the bird is recovering from a broken wing and a case of lead poisoning. The bird was found in western Chippewa County earlier this month. Rescuers believe someone shot the eagle. There’s an 18 thousand-dollar reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
