A rally to support Ukraine was held at the state Capitol yesterday.
Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway declared Saturday, April 9th as ‘Solidarity with Ukraine Day,’ and called on Madison residents “to join us in expressing support for the people of Ukraine,” which has been under attack by Russia for six weeks. Ukraine’s national anthem was played at the outdoor rally, which featured testimonials from Ukrainians who fled the country and came to Wisconsin.
