Vos Turns Over Emails

Vos Turns Over Emails

The top Republican in the Wisconsin Assembly has turned-over 10 thousand emails, some of them more than a decade old, as part of the inquiry into Wisconsin’s 2020 election investigation.

The latest court filings show Assembly Speaker Robin Vos turned over thousands of emails to a liberal group that has filed dozens of open records requests with his office. A judge had threatened to fine Vos for contempt of court if he didn’t turn over his emails in the case. Vos’ lawyers say some of his emails, from his private account, were deleted and cannot be recovered. The judge agreed with that point.

Most of the emails are not related to the election investigation, and the group that requested them has not yet finished reading everything Vos sent them.
