A Wisconsin girl is celebrating her birthday by donating over a thousand dollars worth of dog food to local animal shelters.
WKOW says five-year old Monae Lust told everyone she wanted dog food for her birthday so she could make a donation to Madison’s animal shelters. The report says, after a social media push from her mom, she wound up getting 13-hundred dollars worth of dog and cat food. Monae and her mom Julia delivered the pet food to three different animal shelters Friday. Julia says her daughter was inspired by watching Chicken Soup for the Soul videos.
