The Ridgeland Area Library’s inventory has grown by about one-thousand books, thanks to the generosity of a couple who lives not quite an hour away.
Members of the library’s board say the couple who donated the books lives in Arkansaw. They had collected books most of their lives and had read about the Ridgeland library in the Eau Claire Leader Telegram more than six years ago. When they decided to find a new home for their collection, they remembered the Ridgeland Library and donated their books to the library.
