Wisconsin is a top-five state for doctors.
That’s according to WalletHub, which ranks Wisconsin the number-three state in the U.S. to practice medicine. WalletHub says Wisconsin has the lowest malpractice suit payout amount per capita, the second-least expensive malpractice insurance rates, and the third-highest average salary for doctors. WalletHub says the top state for doctors is South Dakota and the worst is Rhode Island.
