Chandler Halderson will never leave prison alive.
A Dane County judge yesterday sentenced Halderson to life in prison without the possibility of parole for murdering, then butchering his parents. Halderson spoke for the first time since his arrest yesterday, but only asked for lawyers to take a look at his appeal. Halderson had asked the judge to allow him to skip the hearing. Police say Halderson murdered his parents then cut-up their bodies because his web of lies about going to college and getting a job was unraveling.
