Accidental Death Ruled in Case of Missing WI Woman

Doctors are blaming a western Wisconsin mom’s death on meth and ‘positional asphyxia.’

The autopsy for Ashley Carlson ruled her death an accident. Carlson went missing in September of last year.  Crews in both Minnesota and Wisconsin searched for her for two months. Eventually, authorities found her remains in Pine County, which is about halfway between the Twin Cities and Duluth.

She was 33-years-old and a mother of four children.
