Damage Assessment Wraps Up After WI Tornado

The first damage-count from Stoughton shows nearly 200 homes were damaged in last weekend’s storms.

Dane County Executive Joe Parisi yesterday said crews counted the damage after a tornado clipped the area on Saturday. Parisi said teams from Wisconsin’s Emergency Management office finished their damage assessment yesterday. Parisi says one home and one business were completely destroyed, while 190 other homes suffered at least some damage. There are no reports of any major injuries from the tornado.
